ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Jane, thank you for reading my profile. Being an Integrative Counsellor I am aware of different therapeutic approaches, meaning I can support you in a way that best works for you.
MY EXPERIENCE
I am qualified as a Counsellor at Masters level and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, where I follow their ethical framework for your safety and security. I have a background in coaching and personal development bringing encouragement and direction to our work. With my counselling experience, I can help you to make sense of your thoughts and behaviour and ease the discomfort of carrying personal challenges alone. I have worked in a counselling practice supporting clients with anxiety, work-related stress, depression, loss and relationship issues. I have worked with a bereavement charity supporting clients with loss. Working within a well-being cafe I offered face-to-face support, sharing relaxation techniques and creativity to help clients work with their own emotions.
MY APPROACH
I have a calm and compassionate nature. I like to offer encouragement and support to assist you on your journey of self-discovery. I can adapt my approach depending on the difficulties you are experiencing, which we can discuss in a free no-obligation 20-minute session prior to our work together. Life can get difficult at times, and you do not have to experience these times alone.
